minutes drive time as you work your way out of santa rosa to george nevada. -- towards at nevada >> we are dealing with really dense fog in the city. it is up the north bay aureus thing locally dense fog especially in the valleys. we have seen improvement from a vial santa rosa and visibility is about half a mile there. the rest of the bay area looks pretty good but fog tracker 4-show holding on to some lingering cloud cover into the 9:00 hour. by lunchtime will see partial clearing, mostly sunny shot skies around the bay area. sunshine and high clouds with a little bit more clout cover situated along the coast. right now is chilly out the door with forties' for santa rosa in napa the layout is 42 degrees. 44 in oakland 50 in redwood city has begun to the afternoon cooler conditions that were used to the pleasant and mild weather with upper 60s and los pitas and santa clara seven is on tap for mountain view. east bay has '70s for fare from livermore walnut creek 66 in san leandro. these days are short line mid to upper 60s here. downtown san francisco's relatively chilly at 64 degrees

chilly and santa rosa and nevada. is about 45 degrees in san jose. it will warm- up to low 70's. it will upper 7e coast. the north bay is expecting low 70's abou73 about 73 degrees for santa rosa. as we take a look at satellite we have been filling the warm front weekend. we will not get rain from this it would just usher and cool air. we do have rain in the forecast. >> holiday shopping season is well under way with more than $11 billion exchanging hands. for this is a positive economic. thousands of people packed into the downtown area not only to find bargains but to see the lighting of this tree. as we mentioned there is plenty of shopping bags to be seen family stocking up on clothes and electronics the nearby center opened at 5:00 a.m. on friday morning. one shopper stated that she has been planning for this day and it was worthwhile. shopping was great and it has been terrific. i am staying at st. francis so i can shop all day long. everybody has been really great and friendly. we found everything that we needed. >> there were plenty of shopping bags to be seen in humans

exists today. in 2005 i graduated, and worked at county veteran service office in nevada for about six months as a part time temporary worker as a veterans claim representative. up in -- veterans service office for a year and in 2007 i began in veterans county service office here as a claims representative full time and that's what i've gone doing ever since. what i bring is a wide range of experience for services from northern california which is where the majority of veterans come from, and they experience anything from mental health care, to claims, pensions, disabilities, education, housing, shelter. because i've been there, doing z#kuwork. am waiting. i've been doing it every day, since i've gotten out. i work closely with everybody here in the room, and anybody that works with veterans, one hour a week, 10 hours a week, 50 hours, whatever they end up doing. hope i can get on the commission, maybe bring something from inside of doing the work every day that might implement programs that make it better for veterans here. >> chair kim: thank you so much, mr. gallagher. next, we have
